Surrealism and the rue Blomet

In the early 1920s the rue Blomet in Paris’s 15th arrondissement was home to Joan Miró and André Masson and quickly became an artistic hub for leading figures of Surrealism. A fully illustrated catalogue was realized for the exhibition. Contents include documentary photos, an essay by Mary Ann Caws a leading scholar of Surrealist literature, and translations of essays by original inhabitants Robert Desnos and Michel Leiris, both appearing for the first time in English.
