Los Alamos

To accompany a selection of thirty seven large-scale pigment images from the Los Alamos series, printed from vintage negatives, we designed a unique portfolio box to encase three booklets. Taking inspiration from the tradition of Leica casings we chose a leather texture for the exterior of the box and split the catalogue into distinct parts to showcase their contents. The large, self-cover booklets function as single collections. These decisions experiment with the notion of portfolio and the distinctive, self-sufficient nature of the artist's work.
