Lucien Smith was discovered at his senior thesis show at Cooper Union in 2011. Associated with the cool-kid Still House Group and once working for Dan Colen, the oft-described “wunderkind” has become a fixture on the downtown art scene in New York. Called out as an artist to watch in more than one publication and championed by Bill Powers the buzz around Smith continues to grow. Following on from his book, Small Rain Paintings, an in demand catalogue for his show in Los Angeles (2012) we have designed a [catalogue][1] for his solo show, Tigris, at Skarstedt Gallery in New York (2014).
